Nourish for Kids is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide education, enrichment, and healthy nutritious meals to those who have difficulty acquiring food. We strongly believe in bringing communities together for the greater good, and our primary goal is to increase food and nutrition security for children, especially during the summer months when school is out. To achieve this, we use three approaches: first, we promote holistic summer programming that combines access to nutritious food with recreational, educational, and other enrichment opportunities. Second, we expand the reach of summer meal sites in rural communities across the country. Finally, we raise awareness of summer nutrition programs so that more individuals and organizations can get involved and make a difference.
